Teenage and Young Adult Information

Updated March 2017

Here at the surgery we understand the importance of providing an accessible and confidential service for our young people. There can be some confusing or conflicting advice about potentially delicate or embarrasing situations.

We hope this area will give you access to useful links.

Teenage years can be a difficult time for all involved. By clicking on the link below, you can find information on conditions that teenagers might be particularly interested in, such as acne, contraception and sensible drinking. Mental health and healthy living are also covered.

Visiting your GP when you are worried about your mental health can be a daunting experience. It’s hard to know what to expect, what to say and whether they will understand you. To help with your questions and making the most of mental health related GP visits for young people click here.
