Home Visits

Doctor's bag

If you are too ill to attend the surgery, please telephone the surgery BEFORE 10.30 am. The receptionist will ask you to provide some details about the nature of your call and a member of the duty team will contact you for an assessment and advice.

Regrettably, social circumstances, e.g: lack of transport or child minding problems are not valid reasons for a home visit.

Remember: Up to 6 people can be seen in the surgery in the time it takes to make 1 visit.

Please note: You have no automatic right to a home visit. You can request a visit, but it is up to the doctor to decide whether you actually need one or not.
