When We Are Closed

NHS 111

You should call the NHS 111 service if you need medical help, but it’s not a 999 emergency. NHS 111 can provide urgent advice or treatment for problems arising outside normal surgery hours and you may be invited to attend an out-of-hours clinic. Please note that your call may be recorded.

Please telephone 111 to access this service between 6.30pm and 8.00am on weekdays and all during the weekends and Bank Holidays.

The Out of Hours Service is unable to issue repeat prescriptions. These will need to be requested and collected during weekdays from the surgery.

For more information regarding the 111 service, please click here.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
